 La Chascona

It is the name that Neruda gave to his(her, your) house in Santiago located to the feet of the hill St Kitts. Here it(he,she) tried to recover the environment of his(her, your) infancy, his(her, your) natal land in the south of Chile, in her(it) it(he,she) lived together with Matilde Urrutia.

La Sebastiana

Paul Neruda's house in the Hill Florida of Valparaiso, and that baptized as " The Sebastiana " in honor his(her, your) builder. After Neruda's death in September, 1973, his(her, your) widow Matilde Urrutia decided to close this house not to return.

Isla Negra

Contrary to what indicates his(her, your) name, Isla Negra is not an island. It is a resort on the coast of the pacific one, in Chilean lands, to the south of Valparaiso to a few dozens of km. Rightly there there is the house of the poet, who bought Isla Negra's house to a socialist Spanish, old captain of
ship, withdrawn, who was constructing it to live with his(her, your) family. Since the house was to way to do, the poet could finish it to his(her, your) taste.
